The NSSA Puerto Rico Conference is a non-profit organization registered under the IRS 501c3 (IRS) and a Conference of the National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA), California USA, a non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage and assist its members in their interests in learning and developing the fundamentals and skills of Sport Surfing, ensuring that all young competitors stay in school and educate themselves so that they can be successful in whatever they choose to do, while competing in surfing events and sessions. professionally structured and high-quality training, providing the opportunity for all young athletes from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Basin to fulfill their dreams of becoming professional surfers. No amateur youth athlete should think about turning pro until it is proven in NSSA National events as a great steppingstone to professionalism and the message is very clear: textbooks first, surfboards second. Established in 2018 by Surfing Coach, Ernesto "Ernie" Álvarez, experienced coach, veteran competitor, environmental activist, and educator, NSSA Puerto Rico promotes the qualities of good coaching, discipline, and competitive excellence while supporting the merits of training. academic providing a fun and safe sports experience for all its athletes.

Welcome to our Seeding surfing events schedule. We our focused on bringing quality competitive events creating the necessary data to evaluate our athletes with the best computerized judging systems and high quality equipment, as well as experienced jufges & officials to ensure the success of our competitive program. 

These events are part of the pathway to compete in the prestigious NSSA National Championship which has being the platform for all US surfing champions and many of the top Championship Tour surfers.
